Anime clothing has a quality problem. Walk through any high street or scroll any marketplace and you'll find the same thing: beloved characters screen-printed onto thin blanks, destined to crack and fade within a season. For designs people genuinely care about, that always felt wrong to us. So we did it differently.
Why embroidery for anime designs
Anime iconography is built on bold linework, strong silhouettes and instantly recognisable shapes — which happens to be exactly what embroidery renders best. Thread gives those lines physical depth and texture that flat ink can't touch. A stitched patch catches light, holds its colour wash after wash, and reads as a crafted object rather than merchandise.
There's also a respect argument. If a character means something to you, it deserves better than a print that peels. Stitching is permanent. That's the standard the collection is built on.
The rivalry pieces
Naruto x Sasuke. The defining rivalry of a generation, stitched as a single chest patch on a black oversized tee. Two characters, one frame — the tension is the design.
Luffy x Zoro. Captain and first mate on a black oversized hoodie — the duo that carries the crew, rendered in dense embroidery on heavyweight fleece.
Dragon Ball Z. The classic. A stitched patch on our black hoodie in a medium fit — 380gsm, warm without the bulk, built for daily wear.
How they're made
Every design starts as line art, then gets digitised for embroidery — deciding stitch direction, density and colour blocking so the patch sits flat and reads cleanly from a distance. The patches are stitched front-only on 240gsm heavyweight cotton tees (oversized cut, sizes S–L) and heavyweight hoodies. No prints anywhere in the process.
Styling them
Anime pieces work best styled like any premium streetwear — let the patch be the only statement. Black tee, neutral bottoms, clean trainers. If you're layering the hoodie, keep everything else tonal. The design does the talking; that's the point of stitching it.
